The above video tells all.   SyncPad is a collaboration tool that enables a basic sync between multiple devices.   This sync can be remote (!), so users do not need to be on the same wifi network in order to sync their devices.  Once synced, all synced devices control a common whiteboard.  Users can upload photos or pdfs to this whiteboard (it also syncs with Dropbox, a feature that was rightfully demanded by its users).

Syncpad is expensive, but functional.  Nothing else that I’ve seen does what it does as easily.  They can be contacted for information about using syncpad in a classroom, and I am going to see what that entails.  More on this soon.

One hopes that it will be synced with a video chat in the future….
